Words used on this page
- Personal data: any information about a person who can be identified from it, such as a name, email address or phone number.
- You: the person whose data it is. Indian law calls this person the “Data Principal”.
- Data Fiduciary: the business that decides why and how personal data is used. For this website, that is us.

What we collect
1. What you type into the contact form
- your name
- your email address
- your phone number, only if you choose to give it
- your business name
- your message
2. Technical details sent with every visit
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare records each request to the site. This record includes your IP address (the number that identifies your internet connection), details of your browser and device, and the time and page of the request.
3. The bot check on the contact form
To stop spam, the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile. When you use the form, Turnstile looks at technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, to judge whether a person or a program is sending it.
4. Your light or dark theme choice
If you switch between the light and dark look, your browser remembers the choice on your own device. It is never sent to us. See our Cookie Policy.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or social media tracking. We do not set cookies. We do not ask for payment details, passwords or government ID numbers on this website.
Why we use it

We use your enquiry details only to deal with your enquiry. You gave them to us for that reason, and Indian law allows us to use them for it. You can tell us at any time to stop. Write to hello@getsorto.in and we will stop and delete them, except anything the law requires us to keep.
If you later become a customer, your details become part of that business relationship, which is covered by your signed agreement.
Who receives it
We share your data only with the companies that help us run this website. They handle it for us and on our instructions.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We may have to give data to a government body or court when the law requires it.
Data sent outside India
Cloudflare and Resend may handle your data outside India, including in the United States. Indian law allows this, except to any country the Government of India restricts. If a country we use is restricted, we will stop sending data there.

How we protect it
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). The contact form is checked for bots before any message is sent. Access to our mailbox is limited to the people at Sorto who need it to answer you.
If a leak or misuse of personal data affects you, we will tell you without delay, and we will tell the Board, as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct, complete or update it.
- Delete it, unless we must keep it to finish what you asked for or because a law requires it.
- Stop using it. This is as easy as giving it: one email.
- Name someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to act.
You can also complain about how we handled your data (see below).
To use any of these rights, email hello@getsorto.in from the email address you used with us, and say what you want. We may ask you to confirm it is you before we act. There is no charge.
How to complain
Write to our Grievance Officer first. The Grievance Officer page explains how, what to include, and how quickly we will reply.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. The law asks you to use our process first.
Children
In Indian data protection law, a child is anyone under 18. This website is meant for businesses. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal data. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we will delete them.
Language
You can ask for this notice in English or English. We do not offer other languages yet.. Email hello@getsorto.in.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you have already sent us, we will tell you by email before it applies.
The law we follow
This policy is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its Rules of 2025, and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. Some duties under the 2023 Act have not started yet. We follow them on this website already.
