Six parts of one system, each with its honest status.
Sorto is pre-launch. Below, “Today” means built and tested and running in trials or in our own café. “Planned” means designed and not built. Nothing is described as working that is not.
Billing that keeps its books straight.
Bills, kitchen tickets, cash and day-end, in whole paise on the shop's own PC.
Built · in trialsNot yet live in a shop- Dine-in, takeaway and delivery bills, with kitchen tickets per kitchen section.
- Pay by cash, UPI, card, split or part-paid; dues and advances; a bill before paying.
- Returns are numbered credit notes. A sale is never edited.
- Price per order type, with history, and Excel in and out for the menu.
- Day-end count that starts empty, note by note, with payouts, loans and chits recorded.
- Pending: one inbox for everything that waits on you.
Not yet: captain phones, scan-and-order, a kitchen screen, several tills sharing one shop, e-bills, delivery-app orders, and the full reports shelf. A list of tested receipt printers is not published yet.
A difference needs a reason and a PIN. Sample figures.
Ask in plain words. See the working.
The analyst we use every day on our own café's sales.
In daily use at our café- Every number can show how it was worked out and which dates it covers.
- A day with no data is “unknown”, never ₹0. Averages divide by days that have data.
- It will not compare two periods whose coverage differs.
- It looks your data up before it answers, and shows what it looked up. Anything that would change data is refused.
- When only you know why a number moved, it asks once and remembers.
Know this: to word an answer, Insights sends your question and the figures it looked up to an external AI service. Today it reads the café's existing billing exports and, through a bridge that is built, Sorto's own books. An assistant inside the till is in progress.

- Statutory contributions come from your own set-up. The software contains no built-in rates.
Not yet: salaries paid through Sorto's books and one shared list of people across the apps. Both are planned.
Sample figures.
Know what a dish really costs.
From the supplier's bill to profit on every dish, in the same books as the till.
Built · in trials- Items, entries and counts; suppliers' bills and what is due.
- Recipes, use, wastage and staff food.
- Expiry, a to-buy list and a “3 left” warning.
- Profit per dish from the stock cost. A dish with no cost recorded says so, and is never shown as ₹0 cost.
- Excel in and out.
Hatched means not known yet. Sample figures.
Store credit now; the rest is on the way.
Customers are held by a number of their own, not by their phone number.
Store credit · builtWallet top-up, vouchers, loyalty, messages · planned- A customer record and a store-credit wallet, switched off until a shop turns it on.
Not yet: wallet top-up, gift vouchers, points and loyalty, customer messages by WhatsApp or SMS, and a customer list for campaigns. All are planned.

See it with your own numbers in the room.
Book a demo and we will walk through the till, Insights and the books on a sample café, and tell you plainly what is built and what is not.
