What these terms cover
These terms cover only two things:
- your use of this website, and
- any enquiry you send us, through the contact form or by email.
They do not cover the Sorto software itself. Sorto is supplied to each business under a separate written agreement (an order form or contract) signed with that business. For the software, that signed agreement is what counts.
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Sorto is not launched yet
Sorto is a restaurant operating system. It covers billing at the counter (we call this the till), stock, cash and the end-of-day count, Insights (reports and answers about your own numbers), and customers. Payroll is a separate app today.
No shop pays for Sorto or bills on it yet. The first live shop is planned for late November 2026.
So please read this site as a description of what we are building:
- Features marked “in progress” or “planned” may change, arrive later than shown, or be dropped.
- Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a promise that a feature will exist by a certain date.
- What a business actually gets is what its signed agreement says.
Using this website
You may read the site, link to it and share its pages for any lawful purpose. Please do not:
- try to break, overload or get around the site’s security, including the bot check on the contact form;
- send malware, spam, or automated form submissions;
- pretend to be someone else, or send another person’s details without their permission;
- copy large parts of the site and present them as your own;
- use the site in any way that breaks Indian law.
We may block anyone who does these things.
Enquiries
When you send an enquiry, please give true details. An enquiry does not create a contract and does not commit you or us to anything. We aim to reply, but we do not promise a reply time.
How we handle the details you send is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our content, names and logos
The words, design, pictures and code of this site belong to us, or to people who have allowed us to use them. You may not reuse them for business purposes without our written permission.
The name Sorto and its logo identify our product. Please do not use them in a way that suggests we made, approve of, or are connected with something when we are not.
This site may show the logos of other companies, for example card machines, payment services, delivery apps, messaging and accounting software. Logos are trademarks of their owners; listing does not imply partnership or endorsement. A logo here means only that Sorto connects with that service, or that we plan for it to.
No promises about the website
We try to keep this site correct and working. But we provide it “as is”, which means we do not promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes, or up to date.
Nothing in these terms takes away a right that Indian law says cannot be taken away.
Limits on our responsibility
This website is free to use. As far as the law allows:
- We are not responsible for lost profit, lost business, lost data or harm to reputation, or for any other indirect loss, that comes from using this website or relying on what it says.
- Our total responsibility for anything that comes from using this website is limited to ₹10,000.
These limits do not apply to loss caused by our fraud, or to anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
Our responsibility for the Sorto software is set only in each business’s signed agreement.

Links to other websites are there to help you. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they say or do.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies to that use.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute about them will be heard by the courts at Tirupur, Tamil Nadu.
